Winner of the 2020 TELUQ’s Digital trophies award for the innovation in education category.

Krispii was hired to produce sexuality education material for high schools in Québec. The material included a lot of infographics and videos. This project was in two phases. Cycle 1 (12 to 13 year olds) and Cycle 2 (14 to 17 year olds). I designed an attractive and fun branding to capture the interest of young people and to normalize sexuality and its many subjects. Inclusiveness and diversity were the project’s desired take-aways. It was therefore very important not to fall into stereotypes.

Each video includes a section with teenagers answering different questions related to sexuality. The goal is to show that it is normal to question yourself about sexuality in general at this age. Each video ends with a vulgarized explanation by a professional sexologist.

The pictograms and patterns have been designed to offer a variety of shapes and to avoid imposing the same models over and over on teenagers. Several non-gendered assets were used in the infographics, as well as several meaningful pictograms for young people.

The colours chosen mirrored the Ministry of Education’s colour code in order to provide an easy reference for teachers. Furthermore, the support documents for teachers are visually in sync with each module to facilitate their work.

Several marketing publications have been subsequently produced in different formats; newsletter, Eventbrite, Facebook slideshow, etc..
